[Axel is caught in the attack since his job is smack in the center of the district. As the building collapses around him, he's almost too shocked to summon a portal in time, but gets outside of it, and onto the highest roof he knows of, but that ends up collapsing too and he falls into the rubble, a large chunk of it almost incapacitating him. It's only after a few calmer moments that he notices one of the huge monsters mere meters away]

[And right on cue, Xigbar steps out of his own portal and launches a few of his laser arrows at the monster in question, making it retreat a few yards. He turns his head towards Axel with that unfazed, almost lazy grin, and hefts one arrowgun against his shoulder in his customary fashion, raising his other hand in a cocky shrug as he faces the redhead, ignoring the shrieks of the worm behind him.]

You needed some backup, VIII?

[Axel grins, re-summoning his chakrams from where they'd been lodged in the creature]

[ Having heard the alert go out, Kairi was all for evacuating. Not so much that she wouldn't help out anyone else in need - though what she could do against such monsters was severely SEVERELY limited. Her escape was a bit delayed, and as such, when she started trucking for the way out, her path was abruptly cut off by a sudden monster breach.

Startled, Kairi let out a short lived shriek of surprise, clapping a hand over her mouth quickly when it caught the beast's attention. Slowly, slowly she started backing away. Time to fleee~! ]

[Lucian had just finished delivering more supplies to the soldiers fighting when the crashes began to shake the ground. Quickly he had returned to the forge grabbing a set of blades before heading towards the Realm Court, he quickly saw the damage that had been done so quickly by the creatures; so much more than what he had seen his own kind do. Hearing a brief scream he began to run in the direction that it had come from, stopping directly in front of the Areia Verme that had broken through.

Gritting his teeth, Lucian moved forward to face the giant worm. Already knowing how to kill it from what he had heard numerous soldiers mention. Looking over at the girl for a moment Lucian motioned towards the temple.]

“Leave this place, and head towards the temple.”

[Out of all the people in this world, Ichiro Irabu is probably the most ill-equipped to handle a situation like this-- he may have the tendency to laugh most things off, but an impending DEATH BY WORMS situation isn't one that he can take so lightly. And being a psychiatrist doesn't really lend itself to the acquisition of any fighting skills, either.

Naturally, he's mostly hopeless against the monster attack, and he cowers against the remains of what used to be a building, hiding in the shadows of the rubble, his head beneath his hands.]

[England had finally made it to the temple only slightly worse for wear. He'd been lucky and only suffered a few scrapes and bruises. Right now he's huddled in a corner near the entrance, watching the comings and goings.]

I wonder if she's here somewhere.....

[He was kind of hoping that he'd get the chance to meet Alice in person. Having one of his citizens around made him feel slightly less homesick.]

[Her voice was soft, but she recognized him well enough from the video. She tapped his shoulder and was surprised at how young he was. After all, America was quite old but her country was only a littler taller than her. Perhaps it was based on the size of the country? It would make sense then, even if England was very strong she knew it was small. She smiled and curtsied in greeting, her hands clasped in front of her.]
