It was such a relief to have the Simbang Gabi Mass over and done with. I was so incredibly stressed today, and it showed at the beginning of the Mass-my choristers were complaining that I was playing way too fast, and they had a hard time keeping up with me. I'm sorry. I spent yesterday wishing I had a different body, at least until mine was done being sick, and never quite got back to myself until this evening.
I'm glad you did well. A bit too fast is pretty low on the list of potential problems, IMO.
There was a time when every Mass was a high Mass. Can you imagine what that would be like for an organist/choir director?
