Quick question- If you have an accept/reject policy with any kind of club or operation, one must be able to give feedback as to why, artwork for instance, was rejected, right? Otherwise you're just an elitist frick?

It would be the professional thing to do to be able to supply feedback if it was asked of them. If they can't come up with an intelligent reason as to why something was rejected then they probably have no business dealing with artwork in the first place. Can I ask what kind of club or operation it was?

just a random group on Deviantart, called "Traditional Media". So, not a big deal, but I started a personal crusade of sorts by telling them my opinion of how they do things. They rejected a piece of my work that I submitted to their club gallery, while giving me a copy-pasted umbrella response of 'check the link of our FAQ for why your art was rejected and one of those reasons is probably why we rejected you but we're MUCH too busy to give everyone individualized feedback. We just choose the best of the best out of any random given chunk of art and don't really tell anyone what they could be doing to better their art to get featured."

Didn't quite say things like that, but it was the gist.

I will also have to add that since I started expressing my opinion they've actually been responding to people here and there who ask 'why was I rejected?'

But their overall umbrella response is still there.
