Looks like I'll be doing a recital in mid-November.  My instructor said I could wait until later if I didn't feel I was ready, but I guess I have to start somewhere.  I'll be doing one or two Italian songs, "Sebben Crudele" and/or "Gia il Sole dal Gange."  I've been performing with the Glee Club, but it's been a long time since I've done anything

Sebben Crudele is a beautiful song. I've sung both of those, I hope you can record the recital.

I'll be singing in public for the first time in ages in mid November too. eep

What will you be singing?

Samuel Barber's "Sure on this Shining Night" and "No One Like You" from the film, Powder. Breaking in slow, but I want to bring some of the more classical stuff in once I know the pianist and audience.
