INTRODUCING PIC FIC FRIDAYS
HELLO YAMA FANS~
After a lot of very careful thought regarding contests, exchanges, and other related fiction activities, I can finally announce to you that starting this Friday, we will now have --
PIC FIC FRIDAYS
Every Friday I will post up a picture featuring Sho & Ohno as the 'theme' for the week. The goal is then for anyone interested to write drabbles in the comments that day or post longer fiction during the week based on the picture posted. Everyone will have until the next Friday to post their work to the community!
This doesn't rule out contests or exchanges in the future, but should be a fun way to get to know each other, and also will hopefully encourage everyone to write and build confidence in the mean time. I know we have such a great community here, but we've all been quiet for a long time. It's about time we come out of hiding, yeah? ♥
SUBMIT PICTURE IDEAS HERE: Hopefully every yama pair fan can be involved in this, so if you aren't a writer or you'd just like to see fiction based on your favorite yama pic, leave your desired picture in the comments! I'll make sure to give credit to the LJ user who submitted when posting each Friday.
FANARTISTS - WE WANT YOU TOO! If you'd like to draw a picture for Pic Fic Fridays, we would absolutely use it! It would be a great way for fanartists to get involved. Credit will be given when the picture is chosen, and artists can have their work be used as inspiration for more creativity. ♥
Please let me know what you all think of this idea. I really want our community happy and active, so I'm willing to take suggestions! :)
