As Matt so wonderfully put it earlier as he was driving me back from the airport, this is a crap weekend to be a human being. *sigh* Aside from all the car accidents that are consequences of holiday weekends and the double-drowning that was a product of a fishing accident over in Half Moon Bay, and of course the awful things happening in Mumbai,

I have to agree with you - it hasn't been the best weekend at all among other things. I just want everyone to be safe for the holidays and be happy and healthy and all of that good stuff. I just feel horrible for all of my friends and professors and the such. It just isn't a good start to the season.

Although I must say my living room looks FANTASTIC.
