We thought it was bad when we learned that the VA hospitals are crawling with vermin and mold. Then we thought it was horrible that vets who were obviously wounded in the war and should have been receiving VA disability benefits were denied for their claims because "IEDs aren't direct combat." It just gets better and better, huh?

Yes, yes they were. I found the article on Fark.com and felt it had to get wider exposure, the wider the better.
