A Crazy, Busy, Hard-to-Follow Picture Post

Dec 14, 2008 10:12

OK, so last fall/winter was busy, but all that was work-related. I really didn't get any chance to enjoy life. Well, this year is much different. Rather than write numerous separate posts, I'll share it all at one time here, behind the cut.

I know what you're saying... Make with the pictures, already! )

family, life, holidays, friends, concerts, outdoors, photos

Oh kill my image of that one shot. It was such a beautiful picture, until I read your comment about being a good place to bury a body. lol I am so jealous of you and This_Is_Me, you both have some great photography work (I am assume you shot those pics). I need to get me a good camera.

Thanks so much for your kind words. (and yes, the shots are mine... :-) )

For some reason the snowy creek one really reminded me of one of those scenes in those mob movies where the bad guys go to dump bodies.... I don't know why. I promise, all the bodies I have dumped have always been left in less scenic places so as to preserve the serenity of the locale. (just kidding... mostly. :-) )

What do you shoot with? It's amazing what you can learn from even a simple point and shoot.

Well I use to have a nice Nikon 35 mm camera with multiple lenses, until I hit hard times and had to sell it. Now I am regulated to a Kodac Easy Share 8 meg pixels 3x lense; I dream of owning a real camera one of these days $500 -$600 digital with changable lenses, but having a family cost money. I also use to paint in acrylics landscapes, but don't have the time for all that. Yeah, your comment about the body disposal at that one pic, reminded me of a movie "A Simple Plan"; the book was much better then the movie. What kind of camera would you recommend?
