Wow, I almost forgot I had this journal! I guess I haven't had much to say recently.

But one thing's been bothering me lately.... Why's everyone talking about costumes and celebrations? I remember that we would celebrate the harvest festival back in Ordon Village, but I don't remember anything about dressing up in costumes! Did I miss something?

I think it's a lot like a harvest celebration, from what I know about Halloween. But... I can't really say I know anything about the traditions. I mean, last year! You should have seen the crazy! Maybe I'm glad you didn't.

Crazy? What happened last Halloween?

I can't say exactly what... but all the lights stopped working. Monsters with no forms emerged out of the darkness and began attacking everyone with no mercy! Whoever became their victim lost themselves and turned into a monster just like them. It was a difficult night.

When I arrived here, I was generally confused about the holidays as well. From what I gather, it did originate as a harvest festival of sorts, where people costume themselves as evil spirits to ward them off. Funny how some things seem to be universal, hm?

So, I guess I should dress up this Halloween to keep the evil spirits away, huh?

Somebody else said something about dressing up to get candy, too. Do you dress up in costumes to keep away evil spirits and get candy?
