I am super late and didn't comment on the comm post, so wanted to let you know here how much I loved this. It was one of the submissions I sneakily read all of when it was sent in because it was so engaging when I checked it over. Brilliant, moving, so subtly creepy, wonderfully IC - oh, Sam! Loved it.

This was great. I loved how Sam figured out he could leave a book in one place and pick it up again in another. Clever way of instilling some permanence on such a nomadic life.

It's been a long time since this was written and so much has happened to Sam since then! As I was reading this I couldn't help thinking about Sam finding out about the demons who've been watching him his whole life, and it gave the librarian's words a whole new twist for me. Creepy and delightful when Dean got protective of little Sam, and interesting to see him already thinking about leaving.
