The Doctor accepts the trophy with some reluctance - it's pink and it's sparkly and Rose is giggling at him on the inside and doing that lip-bitey thing of hers on the outside and he's glad everyone's happy, really, but now the rescuing part's over he'd rather like to get back to the TARDIS and out of this being thanked business before someone decides to deify him again.
It's stretchy and it goes twang and although James is quite sure he never wants to see the pirate again in his life - unless for the purpose of arresting him - he nevertheless can't help thinking that it's just the kind of thing Jack would like in his hair.
A little? A little? I had to google it just to find out what it meant. And then Wikipedia-search on Josh Groban, to find out who he was. *threatens with pitchfork*
He flails indignantly at the mere thought of his ship liking someone else better, but she does nothing to reassure him - just hums another of his songs quietly to herself and watches him splutter (she finds his jealousy completely charming, but she's having far too much fun to say so).
