Oh wow this is so good! I just saw it recced on risti's journal, and came right over. I'm loving all the music references - I was SO addicted to that Romeo & Juliet soundtrack once upon a time.

I don't know if I realized how exactly how huge that soundtrack was until I wrote it into this fic and realized that everyone knew exactly what I was talking about. I remember like, lip-syncing "Lovefool" into hairbrushes into the mirror with my friends in 1997. I hadn't even seen the movie, but I knew all the songs on the soundtrack anyway.
