Woah, that's pretty much as bad as it can get without being hospital level. Coughing up blood is not a good sign.
Having to fix all sorts of crap while being sick and trying to help out the person who was coughing up blood? Horrid. Seriously, the health care issues in America are so bad it's hard to believe, and the blame goes to everyone involved as far as I can tell.
Well, the clinic was kinda weird (and that girl at the front desk with full on Mimi clown make-up was not reassuring) and Mom complained a lot about the equipment being old & decrepit, but I'm not so sure American health care is to blame so much as my mother playing a very effective plague spreader and not seeing the doctor again before coming to see me. She got Dad sick before she left, too :/ I probably should have thought to go see the doctor earlier, too, although I doubt I'd have found any help on Memorial Day.
