I have trouble really keeping in touch online, partly because I prefer to communicate thoughtfully (in writing), and when I don't have time for a thoughtful post or comment, I put it on the "write later" pile and it stays there. Here's a quick list of nifty things going on in my life:

It's unsurprising to me that you are now officially an "outstanding teaching fellow", because for quite some while it has been demonstrated in your LiveJournal icon that you are out standing in your field.

Nonetheless, congratulations at this latest recognition!!!

I ran into Books on the train yesterday. He's a current (this past and next year at least) Hunt Wizard, with long pre-Swat experience in related LARPing incorporating both combat and (to a greater extent than the Dactyl Hunt) magic, role playing, and questing, elements he hopes to bring to the hunt next year. I need to put you two in touch.
