Well, I realized a few years ago that if I always wait to someone else to go somewhere, I'll miss a lot of stuff! Last year was the first time I went traveled completely alone, though I still met up with a friend in California. And if all goes well, I might be able to meet up with a friend in London. And this was TOO GOOD to miss!!! There will be much spazzing in the months to come.

SO VERY AWESOME!! i am so excited for you! well, you know me when it comes to traveling, especially overseas traveling. :-) I love traveling by myself, wish I did it more often. Have you looked into hostels for accommodations? not sure if you know much about it, but try hostels.com and look at lonelyplanet.com.

i've stayed in tons of hostels. if you do your research right you can find some good ones at a decent price - much cheaper than a hotel. let me know if you need any help/have any questions! plus it's a great way to meet people! i've met tons of cool fellow travelers from around the world by staying in hostels.
