It feels a little bit strange when I meet someone who is our age, yet is not familiar with Star Wars. It happens, you know.
And Jurassic Park was 13 years ago. There are teenagers who were not alive when Jurassic Park was in theatres. There are children who pick up walkmans and ask if they play mini-DVD's, or something.
There are people who haven't seen Speed!
It makes me wonder how many people actually don't recognize the line, "Dodgson! We got Dodgson here!"
My little brother and I always played a game called, 'Can you hum the song from the end of Jurassic Park while I hum the Indiana Jones song?' Or vice versa. One of us would start and the other would have to try and get the alternate. They are EXTREMELY similar. I still to this day cannot do one while someone hums the other loudly. It is very sad.
yeah, John Williams really started to phone it in after awhile.
I remember composing a letter after I saw the movie, asking him to release the soundtrack WITH the dinosaur sounds mixed in, because I loved that first scene when Grant finds them by the lake. haha. *sigh* I'm such a dork.
I remember freaking out because it was rated PG-13 and I was only 12 and I didn't think they would let me in to the theater! haha. Then I proceeded to see it probably 6 or 7 times too! I dragged my parents, relatives, friends of my parents...pretty much anyone into the theater!

What does it all mean, though?
