And the sad thing is nothing is going to be done about it. The subject of gun control is still too "controversial" for some people in this country, acting like their "rights" as Americans would be taken away if they didn't have their guns, etc. It's the same shit, different day. The fact we've seen this time and time again, that we've become so desensitized by this kind of domestic terrorism in our country like it's the new normal is absolutely baffling and terrifying. :/

I am so sick of this horrible violence and hatred too ::hugs and comfort:: I can only do so much--voting, some calls to politicians (though most of mine are "good") and the bits I do myself in the world and once a month being a good model and caregiver for preschool kids of Quakers. One reason I became a Quaker is our long thought, personal and political/social action for nonviolence. Not proselytizing, just letting people know there's a group of people working against violence.
