One of my other friends said that about the documentary, that it was mostly old information. I might give it a watch sometime.

Hopefully it turns on some new fans or something!

It's worth a watch and listen for the remastered audio (and for some reason they opted to use colorized clips instead of the original black and white). I still get a thrill listening to the boys sing. I've been playing all my albums since I watched the documentary LOL.

I heard some of the remastered Live at the Hollywood Bowl. It is something, like you said, how they were able to drowned out some of the screaming!

My mum-in-law saw them perform twice, and apparently couldn't hear a thing either time . .

I would not be surprised! Ringo said he just spent all this time watching the other three's butts so he could keep the beat LOL!

I'm glad you enjoyed it...to a point.
Hooray for decent audio remastering.

It was a fun watch and a blast from the past. My fangirl side had a great time, it's just my nit-picky film critic side that was like "but wait..."

Yeah, the audio is AMAZING!!

This sounds interesting! But yeah, seems mostly like something to recommend for upcoming newbies and music fans, like the Anthology was for us in mid-90s. Unrelated, why do I not have any Beatles avatars uploaded right now? Must do something about that.

Probably because they got bumped by Bucky Barnes :P

Honestly, I think it was this one that bumped 'em off. My icons have very specific categories. (Don't ask...)

It really awoke my fan girl, I've had Beatles on a loop since I watched it, singing along in the car every morning and then while I'm making dinner LOL. They really have a special place in my heart. But I think Ron Howard could have dug a little deeper with some of the things (and it was weird how Brian Epstein only got, like, a casual mention since he would have been the ones booking the gigs!)
