We were the only people in the theater without kids :x What did you think? I had been iffy on the premise going in and I wound up enjoying it more than I thought I would, but it's definitely not going to become a favorite. I hope it does well enough that they'll keep doing movies!
I missed out on the Muppet Show, but I remember loving the movies (especially the Muppets Take Manhattan) and always watched Muppet Babies. I also adored Fraggle Rock (and Sesame Street).
I would have seen it no matter what. Afterwards Sylvia thanked me for seeing the movie with her and I said that I was going to see it no matter what so I'm glad she could come.
I really liked it. It wasn't as good as the previous one but I still felt it had some great moments and I will probably add it to my Muppet collection when it's available on blu-ray. :)
love love love Fraggle Rock, Sesame Street, and Muppet Babies. I wish they would work out the rest of the rights and release the last few series of Muppet Show and Muppet babies on DVD !!!
I did enjoy the movie! I'll write up my thoughts later but it was pure fun.
I wish they would release the rest of the Muppet Show on DVD - music rights have halted it for the past few years. But come on, Disney owns them now! They have more money than anyone!!
"Goldfinger" with Rizzo and his band of rats stealing the gold bars from the scenery.
Just about all of the John Denver and the Muppets Christmas Special, especially the "figgy pudding" bit that you commented on recently!
Harry Belafonte and the Muppets singing "Turn the World Around." IIRC, Belafonte sang it at Jim Henson's memorial service. The feels can't be described.

I've never been a great fan of Sesame Street I was always more of The Muppets and Fraggle Rock kind of girl. ;)
My favourite Muppet music moments are :
Gene Kelly! ♥ I always get a little bit misty eyed over this.
Julie Andrews. Because I'm a Sound of Music geek.
I will always love this song.
Oh, and basically the whole Muppets Christmas Carol soundtrack is completely flawless.
