Finally watchined "A Magical Place" and "Seeds" last night, which means I am caught up on "Agents of SHIELD" for at least another week.

I watched the first handful of episodes but haven't made time for the more recent ones. Now that you say it is worth it I'll probably go back and re-visit the series.
I think this probably be even more enjoyable on DVD. Series took a long time to get its footing but I feel like it has now gone from baby steps to a comfortable jog.
Hoping it has the power to break into an all-out sprint by the end of the season.
Kind of like Dollhouse? I love Joss but sometimes he just doesn't have the best set up and it takes a while to get some traction. I actually love Dollhouse(hence my Echo default icon), but I see why it wasn't popular. I feel like if they'd had an another season they'd been golden.
I'm with you, the recent episodes have really done well. I was talking about this with friends yesterday and the consensus was that we're getting more information about the individual characters and that makes the team feel more complete. When they were just archetypes they were boring. The more backstory we et the better the show gets.
YES! So true. They were all very cardboard at the beginning. And it was sorta like the start of Lord of the Rings, where everyone distrusts/dislikes everyone else, barely refer to other characters by their names. Now I feel like they trust each other more and we are seeing them as a team. And who does ragtag teams better than Joss? :)
