Ugh, this is such brilliant writing. The imagery coupled with the figurative language (the laugh sticking to the sides of his throat, for example) really brings it to the next level. I really like this fic, it feels very realistic, and that's always enjoyable. It doesn't feel like they're more than friends, but there's the tiniest hintings of it, which is sometimes better than an all out romance. So good work :)
Oh, and your icon, that gif of Gwaine flipping his hair, is too flawless.

Ahhh wow, thank you! I wrote this thinking it would be fluff and slashy but then the story took a turn on its own (like how ALL my stories do). I'm glad you enjoyed it.

So totally gay. Gayness is written all over it. lolno just kidding. You could really read this story in both ways and I kind of am just leaning towards slash but that's me: a total, 100% Ianthony shipper. So yeah.

But anyway, this was truly amazing. I love everything about it, how bittersweet it is, how close yet how far Anthony and Ian are in the fic and just EVERYTHING! This is so brilliant, I especially love the beginning with the explanation of the contrast of Kalel and Anthony's home to Ian and Anthony's home. Gold star for being truly awesome!

And about putting Greyscape on hold, it's hard to keep writing a multi-chapter, especially as angsty as yours. I feel for ya, I'm having the same problem with Survival, I kind of hate writing it now and I'm really starting to wish I didn't write it as a multi-chapter but as a longshot, which it was originally going to be. I'll be waiting for Greyscape though, I really like that story! Anyway, best of luck on writing it!
