Cara, her new owner in Anjung is having a birthday party for her today, (Stormy's birthday is June 14th) with roast chicken, chicken broth, presents and guests, and the celebration continues here at the Oregon State Fairgrounds in Salem with "

ZELDA: well, she isn't a mohawk valley billowy tailed ginger cat.
BEAN: and she isn't a north country dwarf panther; i'm the last one left

Stormy is actually a Guernsey Cavalier, which was adapted from the Raven and Cream Pacific Fishing Cat. They were used primarily for bringing in fisherman's nets until they stole too many fish...

The Rochester Area STORMYVERSARY 2008 will be a small affair. There will be a screening of Bringing Up Baby. (It's in Black & White and features a large cat. It's the best we could do on a small budget and short time frame.) Followed by turkey sloppy joes for Miss Kate and raw ground turkey for Miss Peejoe the gray tiger kitty. Afterwards, sparklers and champagne on the front porch with next door cat, Joplin.
