THIRD: hmm..... what about making it a "Pete's World" challenge? Or asking for specifically TenII/Rose-focused stories? That would let imaginations run wild about the 50th anniversary but folks would still be reminded that Doctor/Rose is both butter and bread as far as that comm is concerned. IDK I AM NOT WISE. But I also want the fanart challenge in future, that sounds exciting!

It's total crap, the waiting. It's worse than having to write the damn applications, because there's just nothing you can do. I hate it. I hope all of the folks you know who are stuck waiting will get good news really soon! God knows we could all use some.

I'm just in this serious stalled-on-everything phase right now and my therapist is pretty convinced that it's because I'm waiting to see if I can start grad school so I'm just waiting to start absolutely anything ele, which I think is maybe an oversimplification, but honestly facing filling up an ice-cube tray should not send me into a 30-minute trance of blank anxiety.

SO WE JUST NEED TO GET OUR APPROVALS FOR OUR LIVES TO MOVE ON..

ME THAT IS ME TOO, RIGHT THERE

I can barely finish this fucking paper- ten pages for a seminar report, I could cough up a ten page paper by accident under normal circumstances- because I keep checking my email every fifteen minutes, is it there is it there is anything there can anyone hear me. I am so incredibly sympathetic to you right now. Waiting is the worst. I keep making myself very small and manageable lists and praising myself lavishly when I do even one thing on them. It's helping, slightly. Good luck to us both, we are awesome!!!!
