Wow...that was just UNF. Bravo and a half. You should totally finish the perfect knots story, btw - this fic gives it a lovely little added piece to think about. That was just hot.

Which, by the way, I have noticed that to successfully cockblock Cara, Zedd must use Powerful Magic. It apparently takes a lot of effort to stop her unmeasurable ability to get some.

I thought it was very interesting how you brought up that they were close in age. I hadn't really thought of that before.

I also really like how affectionate Denna is in the midst of the pain.

Cara is such a driven character. She dominates and gets shit done, so I can't imagine that there are many Mord-Sith that go against her (Triana only did because she had the confidence that Darken was backing her). I always imagined that Denna, as much as she's a HBIC (much like Cara), had the advantage of being a little older and having a little more experience. Or something, it's mostly the rambled musings in my head.
