Geek Girl Con

I've been pondering Geek Girl Con, October 19-20, but it's in Seattle and would be expensive for travel and hotel. The registration is cheap, however, $35 for two days. And I've never been to Seattle, and it's within a reasonable distance of my friend J in B.C.. It would be fun whether I made it onto program or not ( Read more... )

Sirens sounds fun, but it's even more expensive. I feel I should have a book out for that one.

Would it be annoying of me to say I like your novels best? Not to dis your stories . . . but novels = extended character development, leisurely scene setting, longer plot arcs, nom nom nom! And you do all those things so well.

No, not annoying. I need to stop focusing on the negatives like "rushed endings" and "wandering plots," don't I?
