Saturday night, I finished watching The State Within, notable because Jason Isaacs plays a good guy! He made an excellent good guy, if you're wondering

I was expecting the view of the US to be much worse than it was.

I found it amusing that many of the "Americans" were played by Canadians.

Guess you haven't been watching Masterpiece Mystery, then. Isaacs plays a PI in "Case Histories." He's gorgeous when he's rumpled.

I don't have cable, alas. But I am now really excited to see that show.

Silly Vix. Masterpiece (Mystery, Classic, and Contemporary) is, as it's always been, on PBS. You may even still be able to stream an episode or two online. If not, you can catch the rerun at some point.

Before digital, I got reception on PBS only - after, even with the adapter, I got nothing. Sucks.
