Vacation Reading

My vacation reading has been lovely. That is the good part. The bad part is that I haven't been to the gym all week. I made sure to walk a bit each day, but that is not even close to the same. I am pretending I will be all refreshed to start some more intense weightlifting after this break. That might even be true

cofax says Bujold is currently writing an Ivan book, apparently set pre-Cryoburn. The latter could be the last focusing on Miles himself, though.

Yes, she has a new book in the works called currently "Ivan," of course, about said Ivan. I *think* she may be reading a bit from it at her current West Coast signings.

I felt the same way about Where Serpents Sleep, though I do enjoy the characters and the milieu.

I literally wept when I came to the end of Cryoburn. Like you, it seemed to me that she was making an ending. A really difficult ending. We must talk!
