Can you have things sent to your work address? That's what I do if I need to be absolutely certain someone will be there to receive them.

I would have done that had I known the books were to be shipped UPS. Which was not indicated anywhere.

I do it by default for things I need urgently. Sometimes even the USPS has issues.

I feel your pain! I have a mailbox for work at a UPS STORE and they suck too... it's like, I can't even get my packages in a timely fashion even when they're being delivered to the freakin' store.
