Where he's buried and why--his relationship with that particular family, plus Ronald Knox--Powell flits among the many he knew, observing, setting an atmosphere when he describes a place, and implying character. It's worth reading his memoir, esp. if one likes that period.

That sounds awesome. I still have to read Sassoon's fictionalized memoir (which I have) and a bio of him (I haven't picked one yet).
