The more appropriate question would be, "What makes a monster?"

A human is a human, but a monster is determined by more than not being human in appearance. The act of harming innocents and being able to justify it would make one a monster, I believe. Which would make some humans the worst monsters of all.

Humans are weaker, and dirtier.

In what way? And compared to what?

[In every way. The Dark Kingdom says so. Get away with your sense, Erim.]

Compared to the sort of non-humans you see here.

I think being human just means being a human. Not about being a good person or anything, anyone can be a good person. Or a bad person. Doesn't really matter what you are.

[ Take it from the guy whose crew's doctor is a reindeer and who has befriended giants/large ducks/horses/etc ]

So are you saying appearance means something then? Or something else?

Appearances shouldn't mean anything. Human is just a word, isn't it? I don't think it makes us better or worse than other kinds of people.

Some We'v If someone's a bad person it's usually because that's how they are and not because of what they are.

That would depend on the definition of 'human'.

That in a way is what I'm trying to figure out.

I assume you aren't referring to the biological definition?

That appears to be quite obvious. From what I am finding so far, appearance and biology isn't exactly the answer.

We don't really use the word 'human' that much back home.

You don't? What term do you use then?

There are two groups. The Beorc, the Sons of Wisdom, and the Laguz, the Sons of Strength.

Is there any difference between these groups that defines them then?
