pdf to word

Anybody know a way to convert pdf to word without going bankrupt? I think i heard somebody found a way to hack pdf a while back...

The 'hacking' was done by a Russian coder who merely was able to take the copy protection of PDF style ebooks, not regular PDF's.

I guess the best thing you can do is get a full version of Adobe PDF.

I'd go with the full version of adobe acrobat, use the text tool, copy and paste what you need...

if you manage to get finereader v6 or v7, pro or corp, it recognizes pdf files directly. it's russian ocr software, world's best (that's my personal opinion disregarding that i'm russian and know some people from ABBYY Software. i tested virtually any ocr sofware, availiable on the net or bundled with scanners and MFCs)

another way: set your desktop resolution to 1280*1024 or higher (1600*1200 recommended), make a screenshot, save it as TIFF, crop anything that is not a pages you need to recognize, and "feed" it to any software, that can do OCR from files. Voila, you get it.
