My Comic Book Picks for 2007

I'd love to hear from other comic book fans on their picks for the past year. I can't claim to have read everything out there, and some of my picks will be based on impact and general perusing, rather than reading. At $3 a pop, how can anyone expect to read everything?

Black Summer is on my list to read. I'm not that fond of the art that I've seen, though. Ellis is a writer whose work I either love or loathe, depending on the project. There's usually no in-between with him.

I haven't read The Ultimates 2. I'll likely pick up the trades. I am looking forward to seeing Millar and Hitch on Fantastic Four.
