Eugene is lucky that he wasn't hit badly by the bullet, because their doctor is dead. (Initially, my thought was: well, there's a doctor all the way in Hilltop...)
I had the same thought as well, I was sure they were going to Hilltop.
And when Daryl and Carol were burying Denise, Carol tells Daryl that he was right. About what? That he should have killed Dwight and that girl when he first met them?
Yeah, I'm pretty sure that it was about that, because that was the only thing Daryl said during their conversation in the morning.
If Morgan can stand there and tell people to their faces that he doesn't want to kill, you can, too. How I wish you took strength from that, Carol!
Agreed that this is the episode people do dumb stuff to apparently set up the finale.
I have to say, honestly, that Carol's decision to leave...I'm still not buyin'. We saw her not kill last episode--until, of course, Maggie's baby was at risk. She was more than willing to get killed (apparently) until that slash at Maggie's belly. Where did that go? And you can't tell me she doesn't realize she's walking right into a trap by the Saviors. I mean, Carol can't be that dumb, even if she thinks Daryl will listen and, you know, NOT go after her.
I think Denise's one mistake, honestly, was forgetting that walkers aren't the only threat out there, which...as someone who apparently had a lifelong anxiety disorder, is kind of a weird thing to forget, though I get her reasoning for it. But yeah, why Daryl and Rosita were so far ahead of her on those railroad tracks? That was just unlike either of them.
Yeah... how can Carol think Tobin won't tell anyone? And even if he didn't, surely someone will notice she's missing. And could she really think that no one will come looking for her?
I guess we're supposed to accept that she's not thinking straight. And that would explain why she's doing the dumb things the writers settled on. Lol! =P
Hmm... maybe that's also the excuse for Daryl and Rosita - Daryl was preoccupied about thinking of those people he should have killed, and Rosita is still bothered by Abraham dropping her.
