I always liked the way Jenna put it when Josh said he didn't like rancid cause they were on mtv. I belive she said "It's just as stupid to hate someone cause they're on MTV as it is to like someone because they're on MTV."

i dont even like punk, but dont worry, I will NEVER talk shit about any 'true' punk bands b/c i have respect for them. Ive grown respect from people like U and Paul and Jeremy and Shane and Tony! OK well thats all the people that Ive grown respect for punk from...but whatever!

its not even about them being "true" punk or not. It's just people say shit about them liek they sold out, but sold out from what. the play good music and they are respectful guys who have each others backs, just that kidna shit is what i think is important about them. I love punk rock, but this is about more then that. I thin rancid is just a step above so many bands, which is why i like hardcore and shit now cos they all talk about real unity, real brotherhood and so on.
