About a year ago I found out that one of my older cousins was a heroin addict for a while. I guess I never knew because I was too young. Anyhow, when I was up visiting my grandparents I was looking through all these old family photos when he was still a kid and it was weird to look at them and think 'then he grew up a bit and went through quite a period in his life and turned out as he is now'.. It's just kind of hard to believe because I never really witnessed any of that time.
Now that I've spent time looking at a certain set of eyes, I can see the same things in others, but I notice so many other differences too. the face looks different, the voice sounds different... makes me wonder how others just don't see it
