COMPLAINT!

There is nothing out right now in theaters that is happy. Even the kids movie is Bridge to Terabithia. Jesus. This is not how one should celebrate.

I guess we'll go see Breach. At least it won't yank my heart out of my chest and stomp on it.

Ah, see, Patrick told me he was disappointed with it, so I voted it off the island.

Music and Lyrics is an amazing movie! I've seen it twice now and I'm listening to the soundtrack constantly. What I love best about it is it's a fun romantic comedy, but the characters all, even the side characters, stay true to themselves. And it has fun music. And it's got Hugh Grant. You can't go wrong with Hugh Grant. Go see Music and Lyrics!

Also, depressing or not, Bridge to Terabithia was also a wonderful movie.

Let me know what you think of Breach? I heard an interview on NPR with the FBI dude, and it sounded awesome. But then, I have a thing for spy movies.

And is it just me, or have movies been sucking a lot in the past few years?

Man, I don't even know anymore. I've blocked a lot of it out.

And yes, I will let you know how it goes.

What? It's BRIDGE TO TERABITHIA. I'm not sure I fully believe they actually made it into a movie. I feel compelled to see it.

Do you think you'll show up and it wont be "Bridge..." but really some shitty and unmemorable book? I wouldn't put it past them to do that...

Point taken... actually the previews I've seen make it look fairly horrid. I might anyways for the hell of it, if for no other reason than to make sure my kids never see it (lol, me having kids.)

If you decide to go with Breach, it's not bad. Actually decent. And I have heard good things about Music and Lyrics, but you're right, we are shamefully lacking in upbeat cinema fare. I have no desire to see Ghost Rider.
