mystery yarn!

my mom sent us the package of fun crap she got us in china and it arrived today. among other things (candy! bootleg dvds! a mao watch!), i got 6 balls of yarn, 3 black "cashmere-like" 100% wool and 3 grey supposedly cashmere. they're laceweight and the labels are in chinese. so at this point, they're mystery yarn. i can't figure out yardage,

Also depends on the chinese guy. A lot of the chinese people here speak cantonese, with a traditional style of chinese ideogram for writing. Mainland china speaks mandarin mostly now, and use a "simplified" version of the script.
