This week, for some reason, I've been reading a lot of articles online (admittedly, old fashion articles) about Lady Gaga. I really love her videos, even fuck her face. What did you think of Paparazzi?

I just watched the long version. Wow. It was really powerful. I love those long film-style music videos, the ones that really endeavor to tell a story.

Also, I think this is the best song she's sang. I really enjoyed her voice on this one.

I'm kind of a fan girl, I guess, but I really appreciate it when the artist goes to trouble of working with the music video media like a work of art rather than just a promotional video. I like the over the top. I also sort of thought it was a good song for her vocal range, though Lucas doesn't like the high voice, I guess I'm a girl and I like it. Finally, I love the fact that she wears those amazing costumes. If you can't do that as a star promoting this character you've created, then when can you? But perhaps I'm being nostalgic of dressing up like the crap I saw in 80s music videos when I was tiny.
