It's really crappy that you didn't get that. I had a look at it and it says that to get a blue badge it has to be a permanent disability. Considering that a lot of the elderly people I see parking in disabled bays don't look in any way disabled it's ridiculous that they take it so literally. It may actually help your application if you were to apply for some benefits, not sure if you can if you're still receiving sick pay though. It's all damned complicated :( *hugs*
