It is nice to read about how you celebrated Christmas! I need to make my usual entry about the gift competition.

The paper dresses are quite "beyond".

I love the ginger bread style house, hilarious. Those paper dresses are amazing. You and your family look great in your pics. Too bad you had the flu. I had a serious cold and have been coughing my way through Christmas, but otherwise it has been fine. But when are we seeing Phantom?

I agree, the ginger bread house is just sooo creative. It is a PR company responsible for it, maybe not surprising.

Glad to hear your Xmas was fine too, despite the cold.

Phantom... I think I\ll see it several Sundays a row, but I need to get my study dates before I can say any specific dates. Be sure though that I will join you more than once, and I am open for suggestions...

I got to see some of the dresses when I went to the V&A in 2001 :) I think I have a photo of one of them somewhere...
I seem to recall the paper was quite soft looking, like handmade paper. I think they were hand painted but I can't really remember now.

Happy new year!

That seems about right. The book tells of how she painted it all herself. It must have been so cool to see them in real life!

Happy new year to you too!

'Gledelig jul', as we say in our family when it's after Christmas Eve :) Glad to hear you had a good one! Love the harbour photo - far too long since I've been down there. And thank you ever so much for the gorgeous wrist warmers - I love them!! :)

Glad you liked them! The chocolate from you disappeared very quickly... I loved how they were wrapped as well, I will adopt that for eventual gifts this year.
