Of course I go to DC for a week, catch up on some sleep, learn that I can be away from my baby without completely losing my mind (that's mostly a lie), get off the plane in LA, get home, kiss said baby and vow I am never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever leaving her again

Leaving the first time is always so hard. It won't get any easier, but you'll get used to the pangs while you're gone.

This is why we hired Rowan, you know. We are both working creatives and we need to be able to do our jobs. If we can't do our jobs, we aren't any good to Elena. But no, I cried pretty much the whole flight to DC.
