Well. The tree was finished last night. It's still a bit too quiet around here for my tastes, but I know that there are a couple of men who will be joining very soon to enjoy this:

Well, unless you plan on keeping that up until January or February, I'll miss the tree... but I'm looking forward to the fireplace and the company.

And when I told Sally we might be moving there, you should have heard her shriek of excitement. It'll never be too quiet for you again.

There's a part of me that wants to leave it up until you get here, but you'll definitely get the fireplace and the company. I miss you.

And I can't wait for that noise again. I miss her too. :)
