I suppose it could be worse. Supposedly there's this thing called snow that sounds awful.

I haven't played Sims 4 yet, but I've played Sims 2 and Sims 3. Sims games are way fun (if total time-sucks), and I remember loving to make Sims of preexisting characters. You're saying Parker was a Sim before existing elsewhere? I'm not sure if any of my characters started as Sims, but I like that origin story. Characters will come from everywhere and anywhere. :)

Parker seems to live in a cooler reality than our own, if only because I like the idea of tattooed, purple-haired NASA people. ^_^

Randomly, I also have a character who likes gardening, but he's not currently in a situation where he can actually indulge his hobby because I am apparently not very nice to him.

I've played Sims since way back in the beginning with Sims the original. I have always only made Sims of existing characters. Like, right now, I have Seb and Kaydee and Lang and I probably made a Jenny and various others. This is the first time I've ever done it the other way around. Once in a while I'll create a completely original Sim and get involved in her career and go completely away from everything.

I love the idea that Parker can be an astronaut looking like she does. Once I figure out how, I'm going to add pictures of her Simself to her icons because I love her tattoos. She has a full sleeve on one arm, a heart with wings on her chest, and angel wings on her back. You know, not a NASA-type. Her pseudo-boyfriend is a secret agent whom I make do all the repairs.

Parker and Clyde (he was a townie, so I didn't give him the name, but I recently watched Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose--which is where her username comes from--so it's fitting she be with a guy named Clyde) have a basil plant that lives on their porch and a ( ... )

I do remember that! Sims 3 had the traits "brooding" and "insane," so, naturally, Devin was gifted with both of those. :P I also installed the "Working Sim" mod, though I didn't get it to work, sadly. If I recall correctly, it required high athleticism and charisma stats for better earnings, so Sim!Devin would have had his work cut out for him. Now I'm imagining Devin actually lifting weights, which is making me think he actually did that with Brendan once in an early draft?

Sim!Wes looked pretty awesome, and I think Sim!Calla was fairly accurate to how she looked in my brain, too. (I made her a cute swimsuit because I spent WAY too long on everyone's clothes.) Alas, Sim!Kalen looked like the Hollywood version of him (i.e. way whiter-looking than he should have been).
