It does seem that way sometimes, but I prefer him to have 'out of sight, out of mind' issues regarding his daughter(s).

Hank's abandonment of his daughter(s) always reminds me of the way my ex-stepfather abandoned his daughters (incl my sister) with both his ex's so that part of canon had a ring of truth for me. As does this drabble - being careful with him, being nice because he can't help himself and someday oh gosh he might want to get back together....it's Buffy clinging to an eternal fantasy. *hugs Buffy*

You write these little unexplored corners of her life and mind so wonderfully.
