Oh, I like that Darla picked Angelus and he wasn't some snack she picked up!

I always assumed that Darla picked Liam, because she saw something in him that would not bore her; like too the idea that it was the Fates that brought her to him, because he was needed for the battles at the Ends of Time.

Angel always seemed to hate the man he had been more than the vampire. To me anyway.
