I had never really considered this element of Darla's back story. It's so far back, and unlike the rest of The Scourge she has no one who also remembers to discuss it with, so it never really comes to the fore. But of course, the person she was plays a huge part in defining who she became, just as it did for Angel and Spike and Drusilla.

It's also nice to see Lindsey getting a little love :)

I learned to appreciate Darla while writing this 'verse. She'll never be my favorite, but I'm curious as to the possibilities that she can bring into this fanon. A happier Lindsey is a good start. :) Thanks!
