Another one popped into my head. Lorne, Pre-ATS
Title: What's In A Name?
Getting a place to stay was easy. Getting one that wasn’t overrun with roaches and rented by the hour when you were green skinned with red horns, little harder. But this one at least had cable. Television and cable, two inventions of this place that were almost as good as music. He discovered quickly after coming through the portal, all he needed was a name and story to survive here.
He watched classic tv and noted the names of the stars to make sure calling himself “Lorne” wasn’t too out there. John Astin, Larry Hagman, Fred Gwynne, Lorne Green...damnit.
