I'm supposed to be writing an essay for my genre writing class. It's already on its second extension, so I reeeally do need to start finish it this week..

Anyway, I'm writing my essay on FANFICTION. Because according to my class, it counts as a genre enough for me to write an essay on it :P

Sailor Moon fanfic?

Hey, I'm totally cool with you using mine if you like! I have many drabbles (such as the 100 themed drabbles challenge, as well as the 21 days of ipod shuffle challenge), all my fics are completed before I start another, and most are relatively long. But I'm not sure about the communities - I get added into them by other people, but I haven't looked specifically in them myself.

look up Carmen Delta (or there's a link to it in my profile!), or if you'd rather use a really good one, Alicia Blade is the obvious choice!! ;) And you could PM her here on LJ, she's a speedy responder!

Sweets, thanks for the offer :) I'm not going to use yours at the moment, purely because I am not familiar with Sailor Moon and I'd feel more comfortable using works based on canons I'm familiar with, but I appreciate your quick response :)

Thank you for offering :) I'm thinking I'll use Sparks and Pyre, in relation to "filling the gaps" in canon scenes and/or community involvement in fanfiction. Yours being drabbles also contrasts nicely with the other one I'm using, which is a much longer WIP.

(PS did you get my serenity_santa email a while back? I feel awful that it's dragged on so long! I sent through a "teaser" from the story so that the recipient would at least have something to tide her over, and would know that it is being done, albiet at a stupidly slow pace. I've got most of the story done, but the ending is just... eluding me. Uni will be done in a few weeks, so hopefully I'll be able to find a day to just glue myself to the keyboard and work it out!)

I still have those 30+ chapters of the old HP-themed fan fiction I wrote back when we were all in high school if you would like. You'll remember it because you were one of the characters (Char) and insisted on me having you sacrifice yourself for a boy (Tobias) and then turn into a ghost >_< it was HARD to write lol! However I love it because it seems to immortalize all of the positive memories of the friendships we had at the time which is important because I think for both of us that wasn't always such a happy time.
