Giles adjusted his glasses. “Ah. Buffy, don’t be cross -”
“My whole freshman year, you were writing about my ‘Interest in Alpha males’? Tracking my - my cycle?! Did unemployment turn you into an enormous perv?”
“NO! Y-you see, historically among Slayers - the lifespan is so short that - well, now they call it the ‘biological clock’ -”
“Giles. Are you saying I got with Riley because my subconscious was afraid my - my eggs were getting stale?!”
