Buffy supported her Watcher as best she could. There was blood down his pants now and they were leaving a trail all the way to the emergency room.
"Stay with me Giles. What’s rule number one?"
He was too pale and his feet were increasing dragging. Buffy badly wanted a cell phone to call the paramedics.
"Talk to me, what’s rule number one?"
"Is this a trick question?" His voice was slurred but puzzled.
"Don’t die!" she prompted, "Remember?"
"In the Watcher’s Manual it’s ‘Don’t get your slayer pregnant’."
"Almost the same thing."
"Good point."
